We are proud to advertise the upcoming book on Large Animal Rescue by Drs. Rebecca and Tomas Gimenez, the founders of TLAER (Technical Large Animal Emergency Rescue) training.

While some may see this as economic folly, to advertise a "competing" manual, the LAR field is not competitive, and we are all working toward the same goal -- to save your horse. This book will be especially welcome in the training centers of your response agencies. Please pass on the information to them and encourage them to "get on board", both through training offered across North America, and the Gimenez's book.

We would like to share a wonderful print with you. "Helping Hands, Helping Hearts" by famed equine artist, David Pavlak, is a fundraiser for the University of Eastern Kentucky's large animal rescue training program. The proceeds from the sale of these prints go directly to the Large Animal Rescue Endowment Fund at EKU.

The Fund was set up by USRider, an equestrian motor plan that is quite active in LAR. Please help if you can. We LOVE the print in our office!
